ATI gave AMD Radeon GPUs, chipsets, console graphics and technology for combining CPUs with integrated graphics. The ATI name remained on new products until 2010.

    Ah yes, the time when you’d choose nVidia as a Linux user because the ATI drivers sucked ass.

      I was lucky to have an ATI Radeon 9250 256mb back in the day, like the good one with the wider memory bus that actually performed closer to a 9500. In Windows at least. The 9250 managed to sneak between the ‘legacy’ driver and the ‘new’ driver and wasn’t supported by either under linux.
