Those games made me want to get a real pogo stick. I still have it lying around somewhere.

Back when Gothic 3 was released I had saved enough money to build an absolute beast of a PC and took two weeks of vacation to play it.

That’s when I learned that SLI isn’t worth it and means just more hassle.

For all their faults they don’t use kernel level anti cheat. Both StarCraft 1 and 2 are free. StarCraft 1 should at least have LAN play.

When I want to increase my exploration score I run through all floors with foresight before getting the amulet. I usually do this when I’ve defeated the King because I usually give the crown to the rat king. On the way up I buy all map scrolls and turn them into foresight scrolls.

With a little speed you need only three scrolls to search every floor, leaving one scroll for the demon halls. Though I usually hope that I find enough map scrolls in demon halls that I don’t have to run through them with foresight.

You can easily set a cookie expiration date in 2999. That’s far enough to be indefinite. Then you save the user’s preferences in the database forever to remember when they log in elsewhere.

Yay, I wanted to recommend Welonz as well. I especially loved her Silent Hill 2 playthrough. I found her through Baldur’s Gate 3.

I think most of that got lost in the awful editing that tried to make it look like just another action-horror flick. All tension and meaning gone.
