I have decided to buy a waffle maker and today I am looking up waffle recipes 😊
they are delicious but I can’t buy them now because they have milk and or butter in them, this way I can make safe ones, also, mr seagoon loves them 😊
For sweet belgian ones, the trick is to separate yolk and white, make the batter with the yolk, whisk the whites till fluffy and gently fold the whites into the batter.
The end product is very light, fluffy and crispy.

I’ve had a LOT of Belgian waffles and the ones from carts are made with dough, not batter! Those are Liege waffles made with pearl sugar. The ones made with batter are Brussels waffles. The thin ones are Malines waffles.

thank you (I made it). It’s literally a tartan fur offcut I scavenged out of the bargain bin at spotlight, other side is fat weave cord and it’s stuffed with bean bag beans (all left over from when I made a new set of human beanbags) and cats absolutely love it. They’re the second generation.

Feel sorry for youngsters. They will never know google when it was good, and have no idea how to use a library.
