I’ve watched a lot of people get old and die, and they generally become progressively simpler versions of their former selves.

Watching it happen to Trump is interesting because it’s revealing that all he ever cared about was attention. It is a tidy, complete explanation for why he drools over dictators, why the last person he talked to is the smartest person in the world, and why he ended up becoming not just a customer for Jeffrey Epstein (the cool older brother) but a trafficking asset for him. Trump is deeply jealous of anyone who gets any attention at all.

I just saw the clip where he called Iran Japan and then twice called Zelensky Putin…

dudes brain is mushier than the contents of his diaper.

Edit: fixed typos. I don’t know what the fuck happened it why Putin became “Putain”

I think it’s all narcissistic delusion. The dementia just means he’s no longer able to cover it with bombast and gaslighting

I think sometimes when the subconscious recognizes a truth so painful, it would cause a complete ego death (which is often the beginning of a long journey to remedying what ails us), it gives us a more comforting story, delusion, to prevent us from facing a devastating experience. Some are able to surrender to the ego death. Multitudes are not.

That he always goes out of his way to say someone called him ‘sir’ is so fucking pathetic.

The raging narcissism has finally eaten away whatever was left of his dementia-addled brain. He’s living in his own alternate reality, where all of his delusional opinions of himself are now shared by everyone else.
