Can we get a list or wars US has lost?
They’ve basically lost every single one since WWII, but I don’t think it has ever been as apparent and comprehensive as this one. This one was just a very very embarrassing affair for the world’s biggest superpower. Spectacularly so I’d say.
With the notable exception of the 90s gulf war. I suspect (with no real evidence or support), that the gulf war did a lot to set the stage politically for the US in the Middle East. Before that, the American people mostly remembered Vietnam and the pointless spending and loss of life from that embarrassing defeat. With the gulf war being such a massive win, I bet the American people gained a new view of the US military as invincible and viewed the Middle East as a pushover. 10 years later, we’re in 2 forever wars.
I think you could make an argument we “lost” in Iraq, and certainly Afghanistan.
I guess they won in Grenada and maybe with Noriega

Trump first year: Steals a Venezuelan oil tanker, blows up surrendering cillians, bombs a city, and kidnaps their dictator.
Second year: Iran.
I wonder what war he will start in year 3? He’s still threatening to annex Greenland and I know we have been preparing for attacks and are still ready to fight for Greenland, but we will see.
Don’t forget about Cuba, my money’s on an invasion of Cuba next year.
Probably more likely than Greenland tbh. We can only hope he’s become too demented to even remember that Cuba exist by 2027.

I would bet money that the next non-progressive Democrat will rename it back to the Department of Defense so they could make a big show about how they’re supporting Israel’s “defense”.
If the name flips another time it might become a tradition.
It’s still the Department of Defense. Only congress can change that and they didn’t. This was always a distraction for the media to latch onto instead of reporting on all the crimes happening right under their nose. Like “Gulf of America” that everyone promptly forgot about.
That’s both a relief and really annoying. God I hope we get something better next term, if there’s still a democracy by then.
