We need to make law enforcement require a degree, and there should be a 5 year wait between the military and accepting a LEO position.
Qualified immunity should be stopped and anyone who’s been protected by it in the past should have charges reopened.
I would also like to see a nationwide law enforcement license, with mandatory inclusion of disciplinary information, so an especially bad cop can’t just get a job in the next state.
