Also the utter lack of community, most people just don’t socialize with anyone outside their house or work and even then it’s mostly superficial, plus a shitty, hyper-individualist culture which exacerbates it.

We aren’t a community of workers trying to ensure we all have enough, we are a country of individuals all trying to compete for what little scraps we can get our hands on that drop from the tables of the ruling class.

Hard to build a resistance effort when you don’t trust your neighbors or your coworkers to be there for you when it counts.

Yes, communism is utterly anti-USAmerican, everybody else is weirded out by these definitely broken human beings that have that weirdness normalized by propaganda since birth.

I don’t think anyone needs to see the body cam footage of a labradoodle in a knicks shirt running up to give people hugs and kisses before being shot by psychopaths?

      Just look at the dog.

There is absolutely zero possible chance that animal was a threat to anyone.

Nobody is going to even try to say otherwise, anyone that does will not be taken seriously by anyone who is being honest.

Every damn day law enforcement faces grave dangers to their life in the form of violent and aggressive criminals. You’re seriously telling me if that…thing came at you, full speed, you wouldn’t empty your fucking clip on it? LOL…I’m in absolute disbelief right now.

Let me get this straight: it’s cool to demand Buddy cam footage of cops killing humans, but not animals? Is that what you’re saying? Because people can just like…not watch it. Just like they could not watch footage of any humans we’ve been seeing released.

Hands up, don’t shoot! I can’t breathe! No kings!

          Huh?

Do you have a reading comprehension problem or are you just inventing something completely different to what I said to get mad about and then slapping a bunch of slogans on the end (one of which is just liberal) like it adds something?

You’re taking the person you are replying to too literally. They were just saying that the dog is obviously a big sweet goofball by look and breed alone. They weren’t saying that the cam footage literally should not be reviewed.

Just open fire as soon as you see a police officer - he’s probably out to shoot either you or your pet.

I watch bodycam vids on youtube because they’re unscripted. People worrying about their dogs getting shot comes up enough to verify that the public (some subset) knows this happens. Goddamned cops. Poor dogs.

You people are way too quick to assume police are violent for no reason, just because they’re police. Maybe they were just big fans of the jazz or suns, and being cops was just incidental.

Cops aren’t allowed to he smart, and idiots can get pretty heated about their local sports teams. Are cops not allowed to support the teams of cities they live in? This may be a case of dumb sports hooligan violence that happened to come from a cop, not police shooting a dog for no reason

If your kneejerk reaction is to shoot something, you should not have a gun.

A sixteen year old toilet cleaner at mcdonalds has seen worse shit than your average cop, and has better deescalation skills

Well, cops basically never leave their cars, and its not as if they can just stay parked, so its not like they don’t face real danger and real images of dismembered bodies and twisted metal in their jobs. I’m sure they have need of emergency services at least as often as that sixteen year old at McDonalds.

I’m just saying cops probably have a disproportionate need for emergency services compared to the example; a 16 year old who cleans bathrooms.

            Driving is really dangerous, guys.

No argument on the de-escalation skills.

”A celebration of the New York Knicks’ NBA championship turned tragic on Saturday in Canoga Park when Los Angeles police officers responding to a call about a screaming woman shot and killed the family dog, authorities and witnesses said.”

First sentence of the article that you didn’t read before deep-throating the boot would tell you the whole story, the what, when, where, why, and how. One click, one sentence, a second or two to read.

Look, LAPD officers can still be fans of the basketball teams from the city in which they live? Are we saying they cant? The Utah jazz and phoenix suns are lovely teams. Its fine if they can’t, but as far as I’m aware; they are allowed.

And sports fans can get extremely violent after a rival team wins a game. It happens, and its a risk/cost we just accept as a society. The dog was wearing a Knicks jersey. Maybe if they didn’t want their dog shot, they shouldn’t have dressed her like that.

So it’s possible this wasn’t police violence, but non-police violence coming from a source that happened to ALSO be police.
