My younger kid has discovered “boy kibble”: simple cooking and food prep for high protein, low fat meals (ground turkey and rice), perfect for the gym-bro and looksmaxxer in your family!

I tease, I tease

Anyhow I started there, added “K-Pop” (ginger, garlic, oyster sauce, soy sauce, chili oil, sesame oil , forget what else) so I could tease him about his music taste …… he doesn’t actually like k-pop but I’m on a roll

I tease, I tease

But I had to add veggies too, so now it’s actually something

Yeah, I sort of followed some generic online “Korean ground turkey and rice” recipe for the sauce/spice but the sauce all got absorbed. It was flavorful but yeah, I should have doubled the sauce. And adding all the vegetables didn’t help that

Ground turkey is so lean, it’s like wild game. You need a lot more fat/moisture to get your flavors across.

Otherwise, this looks like a great quick meal. I’d add some soy and sesame oil at the end with arrowroot to thicken and that would round it out. Maybe a kimchi side because I like hot stuff.

Yeah maybe. I always want to like kimchi but usually don’t. I have no idea what to look for
