The Israeli people have spoken: more murder, more theft, more rape, more starvation. More attacks on aid workers, more manipulations and lies in other countries. the good news for some is that the bribery budget will probably be increased. Members of both US political parties can toast to that.

The part i dont understand is this; lets say israel successfully controls all of gaza and all Palestinians are displaced, then what? Arent they now a sitting duck after removing the only reason the muslim world has for holding back?

They have had this plan since Ben Gurion founded the country. They will move on to Syria and Jordan next, then Egypt.

“We should prepare to go over to the offensive. Our aim is to smash Lebanon, Trans-Jordan, and Syria. The weak point is Lebanon, for the Moslem regime is artificial and easy for us to undermine. We shall establish a Christian state there, and then we will smash the Arab Legion, eliminate Trans-Jordan; Syria will fall to us. We then bomb and move on and take Port Said, Alexandria and Sinai.” David Ben-Gurion May 1948, to the General Staff. From Ben-Gurion, a Biography, by Michael Ben-Zohar, Delacorte, New York 1978.

Based on my understanding, there’s two considerations:

      1. I don’t think most Israelis expect Arab neighbors to actually care about the Palestinians. They reason that many of the citizens in those countries are mad, but leaders are all corrupt and can be bought off or manipulated.

      2. There’s a general mania for war, and a belief that they can just threaten or kill anyone who tries to stop them.

It’s all insane. The general Israeli public is heavily propagandized and traumatized. I think it’s possible that experts might eventually categorize this period as a mass hysteria event among Israeli Jews.

Just to add some additional context, it’s rarely discussed in America, but Israeli society is getting torn apart by all of this. Not over political disagreements (sadly genocide has become overwhelmingly popular) but this state of constant war is destroying their economy, their labor force, their international collaborations, and the general mental health of their society. It’s obviously nothing compared to what their victims in Lebanon, Gaza, and the West Bank are going through, but the population within Israel is setting fire to their own society in their lust for blood.

All the Arab leaders are puppets traitors that will do nothing to really help Palestinians and will not act until Israel go after them directly. So Palestinians will be forced to Egypt then Palestinians will rearm in Egypt and Jordan which would gives Israel an excuse to invade those two countries. They could find similar excuses to go after other arab countries

Why wouldn’t it make sense? Israel colonized gaza, the west bank and multiple other arab land based on national security pretense . The greater Israel is a real project.

    voters demand tougher Lebanon stance

    Tougher? Seriously?

So I’m against antisemitism, or just plain racism in general. Everybody is the same, so fuck off with your bullshit.

I hate Israel and the IDF, and Zionists BECAUSE THEY ALL WANT GENOCIDE, and if I have been taught anything in school, it is “never again”

I have NO problems with Jews in general, again, all the same, we all share the same DNA, we all love our children, we’re the same

But if a psychopath dictator is losing support from israeli Jews because he isn’t genociding enough, it really makes me wonder how deep this hatred against the entire world runs in Israel. It makes me wonder if it is a good idea to leave Israel in existence at all, at this point, because every time there is really truly bad shit going on, Israel is always somehow involved, be it directly, be it through financing or sabotage, but there is always something there and it’s becoming… Unsettling.

Again, fuck antisemitism, but people haven’t been able to levy the slightest obvious and valid criticism against israel without being labeled an antisemite by some Israel organization or government, to the point that the word lost it’s meaning entirely.

So then I guess I am an antisemite who hates racism and hasn’t got a problem with Jews at all, unless they’re into genocide and lately I’m having real problems finding Jewish people that aren’t.

Can Jews that hate genocide please stand up? Are there any of you left that actually paid attention in class about the “never again” part?

He’s basically losing support because he’s unable to stop Hezbollah from doing a mild genocide in northern Israel. It’s mild, sure, but how would you react if your neighbours and family were getting genocided? Would you want your politicians to take it easy?

We’re telling our leader to knock it off, and they’re telling their leader to crank it up, and Iran is making their cooperation on a peace deal contingent on Israel backing off of Lebanon. The only barrier to peace on the Middle East is Israel.

The last ceasefire lasted little more than a year and Hezbollah used that time to rebuild, so I think that a new ceasefire now is not likely to be in Israel’s best interest, especially if it involves ceding occupied territory. Trump just wants to claim victory (and he might get away with it politically because the effects of failure on life in the USA will be significant but indirect) but the security of the people in northern Israel depends on actually achieving victory.
