“molest” also literally means to bother, it’s actually a euphemism that we probably shouldn’t use (although it’s become fully associated with the other meaning, so maybe we should, idk).
But originally it was a genteel way to refer to SA.

My “do not molest the owls” sign has people asking a lot of questions already answered by my sign.
The owl looks cute. The sign makes them look scary.
It looks just like him.
I love that you as a person can get jail time for touching an owl, but a developer can destroy thousands of acres of owl habitat while also getting a tax break.
