• 3 oz white wine
  • 2 oz campari
  • 2 orange wheels
  • top with soda water

Mix in the glass with some ice.

Had a little bit of white wine left, and I wanted to see if there was some good cocktail to use it. I’m not sure that’s really the kind of drink I like, it mostly tasted like diluted campari (which I guess it is). But I could see it working on a really hot day!

Do you enjoy a negroni sbagliato? It’s nearly the same flavors, just a bit more concentrated due to using prosecco for the bubbles instead of separate soda water. It calls for sweet vermouth, too, but if it’s a sweet prosecco dry vermouth works as well.

I haven’t tried, but that sounds good! I do like Americano (campari vermouth soda water), and one cannot go wrong with prosecco!

It’s sweet and bitter in a great way. I did mine almost 1:1 with ice. I kept the layering but gave it shake to give it a little mix as I was drinking.

Did you mix it? I just pour the campari over ice and then top with orange juice. I also love grapefruit juice

I did. And I do like grapefruit juice - it wasn’t bad at all, just felt like I could have had grapefruit juice instead!

Campari and grapefruit juice, though - that was interesting. I did that with vodka & a splash of lime, and enjoyed it a lot.
