Last year I said I'd probably never recommend another Bambu Lab printer again. I still use my P1S, but after Bambu Lab started pushing their always-connected cloud solution as the new default: I blocked the printer from the Internet via my OPNsense Firewall I stopped updating the firmware I locked the printer into Developer mode I deleted Bambu Studio and started using OrcaSlicer I had to do that to keep it under my control, instead of Bambu's.

        My XL has given me far more issues than my mk3s+ though. Maybe growing pains on shifting to corexy?

            The toolheads have all been fine, all the problems have been with the 3 axes - but prusa support always came through, even after their warranty period, and got it fixed pretty quick.

          The former poster was incorrect in saying he was asking for donations (he was asking for people to say they would donate, if the need were to arise)

          However, a few hours ago, he uploaded a followup video stating he has uploaded the code in question himself, and is inviting Bambu Labs to challenge him legally. In the video he did mention where donations could be made but I don’t recall him specifically asking for donations for this particular cause.
