Unfortunately there will always be a need for some sort of professional law enforcement. Humans suck and hurt people, and mob justice is rarely a good thing.
But it definitely doesn’t need to be handled the way it currently is.
There is no need for hierarchy and its law. The centralized hierarchical authority which backs the police and their system of law are the problem, not the solution. It cannot be reformed and must be abolished.
