Simple idea, basically uses ice as the storage medium for solar energy.

Very cool concept. I wonder if constant ice freezing and thawing would cause damage to the container and pipes over time though
Probably, but it seems like a simple enough solution for hot climates for a stop gap before battery adoption.
It might even be more efficient that a battery.
