“Hard drugs” “weed”
Article says cocaine, benzos and MDMA. Whatever about MDMA which isn’t exactly an “on duty” drug, you don’t want people with an active cocaine or benzo problem serving on nuclear submarines.
Testing positive doesn’t necessarily mean that of course and benzos can be prescribed. Still not great.
Does anyone know whether you have to declare prescribed drugs in the military? Seems like it would open up all sorts of privacy issues.
I read the article, I wouldn’t call MDMA “hard drugs” either, and they included cannabis in their hard drugs story as well. It’s stupid
we thought they were going deep down, but they were getting high
That groaning is not the hull adjusting to pressure.
But it is the comedown after filling the binge tanks.
Got so high they thought they were in the air force
They better be. I’ve met straightedgers and I don’t want them nuclear capable.
Probably run out of stuff to do on a submarine after a while so it’s not exactly a shock.
Damn, who knew they were so cool
Can someone explain how they smoked weed in a submarine and weren’t getting caught immediately because of the smell?

Likely an undercount.
Presumably, not counting the milspec stims they’re prescribed as gov’t livestock. 🤌🏼
