    One advocate accused the U.S. of being “willing to lie” to “push forward their own gender ideology onto people in the U.N. system.”

    “Gender ideology” is often used with a negative connotation against pro-trans activity.

    If you ask me, the only radical/dangerous gender ideology is being pushed by transphobic assholes. It’s good to see it used in this context. The terms these pricks use should be turned right back on them.

      In the anthropological sense of the term, gender ideology absolutely does exist… from the government. An inherent part of ideology (again, anthropologically) is that it creates justifications for those who currently hold power to maintain it. You’d have to be brain dead to think that describes trans people in the U.S. or anywhere else.
