Pál is a two year old feline, born in the town of Selfoss in South Iceland in 2016. Pál is a rare female version of the popular male name Páll, while the last name Dáníelsdóttir is a patronym, which translates as “The daughter of Dáneiel.”
Pál was adopted by a Hungarian couple, Dániel Puskás and Zsuszi Sabó, who moved to Iceland in 2016 to work at Fosshótel Núpar near Kirkjubæjarklaustur village in South-East Iceland.
