    Is there anything saying that Jedi mindtricks are permanent? You can trick them for a moment, but it’ll fade and you’re back at square 1.

      I’d assume they’re permanent if the victim is told to go home and rethink his life

    If you ignore the magic aspect of this, that storm trooper might be said to have an authoritarian personality. He just believes and does whatever he’s told by whoever seems the biggest authority. So basically, he’d still be a fascist even if he thinks he believes that fascism is bad.
