I love this guy and hate what he’s going through right now. If you’re reading this you probably know exactly who he is, but in case you don’t know he portrayed Ash in the legendary Evil Dead series among a lot of other films.
I like to imagine he’ll kick cancer’s ass so hard, it’ll stop bothering humanity forever.
Agreed. I’m picturing some genius misanthrope hiding out in the world who decides Bruce’s life is worth their effort to go into oncology research.
Hypothetical realistic future headline: New anti-cancer breakthrough sees microscopic chainsaws affixed to harvested exosomes.
The bad timeline: Turns out to cure cancer you have to drink boiling water.
Fortunately, if there’s one person in the world who can drink boiling water to save his own life…
Army of Darkness reference?
lends itself to it.
He fights something that takes hold of his own body for much of the movie.
One of my favorite down-to-earth celebs. Hoping he gets through treatment and beats cancer back hard. Hail to the king, baby!
Some might hail him as the King (baby).
Also check out Bubba Ho-Tep. It’s a slightly different vibe than Evil Dead, but I enjoyed it.
I liked my name is Bruce more than Bubba Hotep.
Bubba Hotep is one of those movies that you watch once and really enjoy it, whereas My name is Bruce you can re-watch it every three to seven years.
Fuck this time line. Should be Trump with incurable cancer not Bruce.
Klato veratu nikpo!
in another article it said he has a chronic type of cancer, and not an aggressive lethal type. its likely could be (speculation) CML, or MF which is pretty rare(which is pretty chronic and uncommonly becomes a more aggressive disease.
CML = Chronic myelogenous leukemia
MF = Motherfucker Cancer, but more likely - Myelofibrosis
I didn’t know what the initials meant, and had to look them up. I figured I’d share.
it could be myelofibrosis, i meant mycosis fungoides, despite the name it isnt fungal. its the late stage symptom(the tumor looks like a fungus) a rare t-cell lymphoma, usually found in older aged white men(most of the time), it takes a long time(most of the time) to enter into a different stage.
MF looks eczema, allergy patches initially(but there are something unusual that usually is best discussed with a dermatologist)
Hope it isn’t Glioblastoma. R.I.P. my dad.
i think bruce said it wasnt aggressive, so unlikely its GLIOBLASTOMA.
