The first US service members to die in the conflict between the US and Iran were killed by a direct Iranian strike on a makeshift operations center at a civilian port in Kuwait on Sunday morning local time, a source familiar with the situation told CNN.
The death toll from that event at the Shuaiba port has since risen to six, US Central Command announced on Monday afternoon, after the remains of two additional service members were recovered.
Earlier Monday, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said that the strike that killed the service members hit a “tactical operation center that was fortified,” but there was “one” projectile that made it through air defenses. CNN previously reported the event was a suspected drone strike.
6 US soldiers killed by a draft dodger trying to get us to stop talking about his friendship with Epstein.
Meanwhile how many Iranian civilians are dead? This should be in every headline discussing dead US war criminals
I don’t think it’s the friendship he wants people to stop talking about though, i suspect it’s all the children he raped.

Of course, if you’re fighting for your country and you get shot or hurt, it’s a terrible tragedy. Of course, of course. But maybe, maybe if you pick up a gun and go to another country and you get shot… it’s not that weird. Maybe, if you get shot by the dude you were just shooting at, it’s a tiny bit your fault
How fuckìng dare they, amirite? Bombing those poor souls without a warning and even killing them… They are savages!
Unlike us, who bomb a school and kill some brown kids who were clearly doing terrorist thingies and were a threat because reasons. That was absolutely justified and normal… right?
The warning sirens were expected from the base not to the base. Jfc.
That’s so sad… as I said, in the school they bombed, there weren’t any sirens.
It sure sounded like you misunderstood. But yes, killing kids is bad.
So iran strikes active targets in a warzone during a war and the super duper advanced US forces managed to bomb two schools in the first salvo. Brilliant. Who are the bad guys again?
It’s very obvious that the US is the aggressor even if Iran isn’t a nice country, they were literally bending over backwards to meet our demands and it literally meant nothing. It’s infuriating
at a civilian port
In other words, using human shields.
Excuse my english but doesnt at mean at and not in?
Non native English speakers really struggle with at, on, and in. Don’t feel bad for being confused it’s super, super common, and most non native speakers will struggle with this no matter how fluent they become.
For general example, if somebody is sitting inside an airplane, you can say they’re on the plane, or they’re in the plane. You could also say they’re at the plane, but that’s really only used in certain contexts.
In the context you’re asking about, “at the port” at and in are synonymous, essentially. The article isn’t specific enough so it’s reasonable to assume that somewhere within the port’s boundary area, fence line perhaps, there was a temporary facility that was bombed.
Since they used the term “at” though, it COULD mean that it was directly outside the port boundaries. Like right outside the fence, perhaps.
Sorry. Not sure if any of this helps.
Yes it helped thanks.
Have we got an Epstein Fury Martyrs list yet?
Their service serving interests of pedophiles and war criminals deserve recognition.
First acknowledged American casualties in the Pedo War.
Kind of like how the missiles sent into Iran would have been like, although at least the Iranians attacked US military buildings and not Iranian schools and hospitals like the zionists and their lackeys seem to have done.
No warning, no siren
Why is this part of the title? It reads to me as making the attack seem more spooky and scary, but is there any other reason I’m missing?
It’s a failure of US logistics/preparation. A more competent industrial military would have brought air defense. Starship Troopers was a documentary.
They did have air defense, just not the right air defense.
Well, in reality it is and should be more spooky and scary. Iran was paying attention to Ukraine. The US seems not to have. This was probably a drone strike. And it evaded the air defenses which were designed for missiles. Somewhere I saw a comparison. A $4 million per missle patriot air defense against a $20k drone. They can send a lot more for a lot less than the US and friends can shoot down. I am sure the US has some better anti drone tech. But probably not enough to protect everything. And it still isn’t perfect if they did.
The US doesn’t leave personel exposed without anti air. Most bases have Patriot, THAAD and or CIWIS, at the very least an air raid alarm and bunkers.
We do now that the most incompetent people possible are in charge
Maybe so-called Christians support the president because now we all get to be a little bit like Jesus: We can all die for his sins.
Nah they support him because they think he’s the anti christ and setting off Armageddon
“If you could hear, at every jolt, the blood
Come gargling from the froth-corrupted lungs,
Obscene as cancer,
Bitter as the cud
Of vile, incurable sores on innocent tongues,–
My friend, you would not tell with such high zest
To children ardent for some desperate glory,
The old Lie: Dulce et decorum est
Pro patria mori.”These “soldiers” deserve to die for the
countrycapitalists they chose to “protect”Suckers and losers for sure.
Good job Iran!
Oh dear, did you hear that Gaza? 6!

Wait are Israel and the US sending warnings and sirens ahead of their bombs?
Or is this CNN writer just discovering what bombings at wartime look like.
Bombable locations often have air raid sirens to alert personnel to seek shelter.
A “tactical operation center that was fortified” ought to have such a thing, whereas a “makeshift operations center at a civilian port in Kuwait” is much less likely to.
The lack of warning speaks to the lies and poor planning of hegseth and other regime goons.
Appreciate the genuine clarification.
I was really referring to the juxtaposed asymmetry of the experience between Iran’s populace suddenly wearing bombs and seeing a school of 100+ girls wiped out in an instant with the US-Israeli completely unannounced bombings (not even a declaration of hostilities), and then CNN crying foul at an unannounced bombing on a military target.
