TW Pet death
Melbcat had too many health issues for treatment to give her a good quality of life. She was peacefully put to sleep while I held her. Thank you for all your well wishes and for loving her too.
Nothing else to add but we loved her too. Rest now little one. No more pain. And to go out being held in all that love you have for her is a gift. Now you rest and be gentle and scream into this void all you need. You did good Melba

I’m getting nuuuuuuuthing done today. I need to start doing things or today is going to go so so so slowly. Strange how doing nothing at work makes time crawl, doing nothing at home makes time fly.

I’ve had three coffees already, so can’t use that as an excuse to procrastinate any more. Time to bring in the washing then start hauling mulch.

I’ve drastically reduced my intake, so three coffees would have me a jittering mess on the floor. Just the one I had lit a fire under my bum!

I have a couple of mounds at the back to spread out once the pumpkin is out of that patch of garden. It turned out to be a pretty good amount (2m2) and covered the garden and a narrow path along the back fence behind the vegie garden.
Cleaning up the driveway was a bit tiring, as leaves from the mulch blew around everywhere and I had some bonus sand that was in the truck from it’s last delivery. I had to sweep the whole lot down, and ended up doing the entrance area and sweeping down the walls which had a lot of dust and cobwebs too.

Thanks. It’s amazing how much some of the plants have grown since I put them in. Its only been about 4 1/2 months since they were planted and they all started as small tubestock.
Tried veg gyoza and calamari (shitty store bought) in the airfryer tonight.
Verdict:
I think the gyoza need to be done normally (pan fry -> steam -> bit more pan fry) but was okay, the calamari worked very well. 200c for 8-10mins from frozen.
1 more day. Urgh.

Next time you’re at the hairdresser ask them to trim them. They do it with the clippers.
At my my barber shop (all Iraqis and Lebanese) when I get my bread trimmed I always forget about the eyebrows.
Thankfully the boys always remind me. I asked one if they’re really bushy, his answer ‘Brother, I’m Arab, if I tell you it’s hairy…believe me’

My husband wasn’t aware that he needed his trimmed until the hairdresser said to him once “you want eyebrows done too?” Now he’s addicted.

Trick for me is have a few glasses of wine before cutting… all about the unique cut. Looks great until I wake up the next day.

I do this myself. Once or twice I’ve ended up with no eyebrows, which isn’t the best look for me.

trim, not pluck, and you can get wax pencils to tame them
mine are so blonde/white you can’t see my eyebrows , I have to pencil and use mascara
