    That headline makes me unreasonable angry.

    25 Million Kilos of Plastic. So 25 Billion pieces of Plastic? Kilo isn’t a unit (kph infuriates me just as well)! But we don’t stop here. They could just as well say 25 thousand tonnes, or 25 kilo tonnes of plastic

    sorry for that micro rant.

    Its awesome that they got so much plastic trash out of the oceans.

          I’ve never heard kilo used as an abbreviation for these. Kilobyte is KB, kilometer is klick, and kilosecond in a silly unit that almost no one uses due to the existence of minutes and hours.
