    Never knew about this until like 2 weeks ago despite multiple plays and hundreds of hours of ER. Its a hard-ass dungeon too!

    I left a message pointing towards it from the bonfire in Radahn’s arena and it was one of the most appraised messages I’ve ever left

      My most highly rated (and controversial) message is one that says “boss ahead so be wary of down” on the balcony that overlooks the Godskin Duo fight. It has roughly 200 votes in both directions and I really am not sure why it is disapproved of at all unless many people simply hit start instead of select because it does not matter 90% of the time (does ER even have a spell or tool that acts like Guidance and will show you the ups and downs and not simply the total votes? I can not remember).

        The disapproves are probably people thinking it’s a troll message because you can’t enter that way after you’ve triggered the fight once.

        Anyway, my most rated message is “tree” in front of a tree.

        That is really quite bizarre. I have definitely accidentally hit start a couple of times, but I can’t imagine that sort of thing happens enough to explain an even split on a highly-voted message

    Imagine how disappointing it would have been if thst catacomb wasn’t there and the arena was just that huge for no real reason. Even with all the phantoms and how big Radahn is, as well as being able to ride Torrent in the fight, you’re probably not even using 1/4 of the space to fight.

    Also that specific catacomb is the most annoying place in the game. It’s about as tough as anywhere in the DLC while being in a zone scaled for ~RL60-70 characters.

      Doesn’t the grace from Radahn’s battlefield point straight at it?

      I seem to remember that was how I found it

        There isn’t a grace path at the bonfire there. The bonfire before his arena does have a grace path which points at his arena’s bonfire.
