    Does the US even do any trade with Russia anymore? How can you enforce a tariff if you aren’t importing anything in the first place? Especially when Russia’s main exports of oil and gas are essentially the only things the US exports anymore anyways.

      I think they still import stuff like uranium from Russia, but overall amount of trade is tiny. There’s basically nothing the US can do about Russia sending oil to Cuba.

    This is why I hope a multipolar world materializes. Not because I believe that China-Russia will bring about a Socialist future, but global south countries (especially AES or Leftist governments) that are under jackboot of US-Imperialism can have some breathing space. The US can still bully countries into submission, less by its military power, but by its financial dominance.
