The contacts are a mix of academic and scientific, political and public, legal and business associates.

At this point in time (autumn 2016) there were civil lawsuits against JE by “Jane Doe” (Katie Johnson) which ended up being dismissed in November 2016. The lawsuit also implicated Trump.

Email also contains what sounds like some kind of notes about his health, or some notes about what he did that week. I can’t figure it out.

LSJ, little st James, also mentioned in there, seemingly.

The guy really didn’t care about legibility and typos when writing anything, JFC.

  • “dick prostatis”. Did he have prostatitis?
  • “smell menatlal fit” - small mental fit?

What’s the point in mailing something like this to yourself? Journal notes of some kind? Something he had to do in the week coming up?

It seems like writing these messages were never his primary focus when he was actually typing them. It’s impressive, just didn’t care I guess, someone else’s problem.

There might be something interesting comparing the first and second paragraph of names and also the last. As one of the reason you put a break between a list of things that seem to be of the same category is that they are of a different subcategory. (E.g. these are people I have to do X with, these are people I have to do Y with). Of course it could also be an irrelevant distinction – maybe he took a break, or couldn’t think of any other names, and made a new line when he returned, etc.

    Benoit Mandelbrot? No 😢

Edit: also Gould is likely Steven Jay Gould, evolutionary biologist. Guess what we’ve been hearing about him collecting elite scientists is true. Or maybe this was a wish list?

I’m only speculating, no proof at all but believable interpretations of the names listed in my opinion. I’d never heard anything bad spoken about either man in the past, who are both very prominent in their fields, but I’ve also never sought out information on eithers’ personal life.

Any google search will provide evidence Epstein sought out or otherwise attracted prominent scientists and intellectuals like Stephen Hawking, Steven Pinker and Noam Chomsky.

Ahhh ok, I get you now. I think I misunderstood and thought there were specific documents in the files mentioning it. Honestly there could be something in the files since they haven’t all been released yet.

There are a few names missing so this is likely new names to be added or a list of people he tried to contact as potential prospects. The lack of context is important.
