Except for a few episodes where the joke was he wasn’t holding a glass, he always was.
Jumping off a bridge with a beer can and still having it coming out is 100% realistic. River water will fill it up, but won’t displace it. And if you cover it you’re 100% good.
Like, that’s just a life skill you get in the country.
I loved the episodes when he did not have a glass, but is walking around empty handed with his arm held up as if he did due to muscle memory
One of my favorite running gags in the show. Pretty sure Bubbles calls him out multiple times too
If you haven’t checked out “Black Jesus” yet, it’s the TPB guy (Mike Clattenberg, not one of the actors) and the guy who made Boondocks (Aaron McGrudder).
It really scratches that TPB/IASIP itch. Except the main cast is generally good guys, and it’s the rest of society that’s degenerate. Like, surprisingly good social commentary throughout
