Yesssssssss. Shutting down an airport is how you fight without killing and without just standing on a corner with a sign.
Every railway crossing has a sign with a number to call if something is on the tracks.
It would be a shame if someone called to report vehicles stuck and had all the trains stop. I’m sure people would be too busy to stay and call them back when the vehicle had gotten itself unstuck before someone came out to check.
I’ve never seen a sign that’s had that at railroad crossings…
Usually in urban areas. I’ve seen them. I dunno if it’s on every crossing though
I mean, I don’t live in BFE or anything.

Ohhhh ok, I was picturing a much larger sign, like visible enough that you didn’t have to know it was there, and didn’t have to inspect it up close… Ya know, like in case of emergency?
I don’t know where you live. Go down to a crossing and look for a sign lol!
The Emergency Notification Systems (ENS) sign gives the public critical emergency contact information at every highway-rail grade crossing.
Update: Dozens of arrests, including 100 clergy members.
The Metropolitan Airports Commission said it worked in advance with event organizers and provided a permit that determined a maximum number of protesters who could attend. The number of people in attendance “went beyond the agreed-upon terms,” MAC said, and police made several arrests
So, it’s illegal to protest for something that’s too popular??
Using our rights is a crime according to the regime.
I think the occupant numbers are about fire safety inside the building. However, given there are metaphorical fires all over the country, I think this population is warranted :)
I can kinda see that, but at the same time I have to disagree with their “solution”. Since it doesn’t solve anything.
But I get your point, I think
The solution of arresting people? That is pretty tacky given the circumstances.
