Rich bastards do things that kill others by proxy and they’re protected by law, but we shoot one rich asshole and suddenly we’re the bad guys.

This is literally the only way to protect property. Especially real estate. It doesn’t exist without the threat of violence from the state.

But also that applies to both groups.

The owner of the estate only “owns” the land because, generations ago, his forefather stole it. Why does he have a right to keep it?

Because at some point their forefathers got tired of fighting and agreed to where property lines were drawn and a set of rules to follow. At some point everyone else might decide these rules are bullshit.

I think it’s not about that, it’s about the masses with little organizing together to say to the hoarding elite class that they aren’t going to just go along with the rationale letting them take all the spoils.

Bought it from who, with what? Trace back the transactions, there will be one of violence.

If an immigrant family from the 1800’s buys land from the government, that is the end of the trail. The mob can have grievances with the government themselves, but the immigrant family is not at fault. If the mob takes the land from them, that’s just theft.

Sure, the government just found the land laying around unused, no colonialism or genocide of natives involved at all /s

How is that the immigrant family’s fault? Or a better question, why the fuck does that mean it belongs to the mob? If they’re natives, which tribe? The one whose territory the land was in before the government stole it? Or should it go to the descendants of the tribe before them who were driven out? How about the ones before that?

Don’t dehumanize victims of landlords by calling them “mob”. There are way more empty homes than homeless. The picture obviously is about needs based distribution instead of hoarding for profit.
