I love the implication that this board incorrectly said it was Monday for 4 days, thus falling prey to the exact problem it was meant to solve!
Me: “well of course it is Saturday, college football is on!”

There’s a reason this time is called “between the years”
AFAIK this is because Catholics already used the Gregorian calendar and Protestants still the Julian calendar so some were in the new year while others still in the old one.
