    my self-taught media literacy is still very weak and i sometimes wish i hadn’t started work on developing it all due to the bitterness it engenders in me when i see how incredibly widespread and accepted/defended it is by my fellow countrymen.

    i sometimes wonder if this is the permanent status quo for the western world.
