I pretty much followed this recepie for the dough, replacing the yogurt with olive oil:
https://www.alphafoodie.com/easy-middle-eastern-bread-dough/
I used this za’atar mix that I picked up at my local middle eastern market. Mixed 1:1 with olive oil.

Overall the dough was incredibly easy to make and the result is way better than the prepackaged za’atar breads from the market, but still not quite as good as the ones they make there.
That looks amazing, got a try this
Definitely give it a shot. The recipe does say to set the oven as hot as it will go but I found that, at least when using an upside down baking tray, setting the oven over 500F made it really hard to cook through without burning the bottom. I also ended up docking with a fork instead of my fingers because the bread kept puffing up.
Also, this shit slaps:

It tastes amazing and also the company making it won a defamation case against a yoga guru/conglomerate CEO who accused them of “sharbat jihad” (sharbat is a sweet drink made from flower petals) because they were selling the drink to Hindu Indians and using the money to build mosques lmao.
