If they make any sort of money off a project at all it is a sign that they are a sellout and capitalist stooge. Any real creator will live in a cardboard box on the side of the road and will always refuse any and all compensation for their time spent bringing joy to other people.

As an artist myself, it is vitally important that we get enough exposure to survive, having enough money to afford rent only makes us sick, like dogs and onions.
