This baby bunny visited for the first time this afternoon.
I especially love the little critters who just left home and are figuring things out.
A teenage raccoon started raiding my bird feeders and I’m not even mad.
But I am moving my bird feeders.
@Semi_Hemi_Demigod @KrissyKat I watched a fresh faced squirrel baby getting mad at the circle of sparrows gathered around him, who would fly up to the feeder, grab some seeds, then fly back down to the grass right in front of the baby squirrel to finish eating them. They were obviously teasing the poor thing.
Sparrows can be jerks. But not like starlings.
I had to buy a metal cone to keep them from climbing mine (and move all chairs far enough away that squirrels couldn’t jump).
Squirrels never seem to bother them. But this raccoon ate half a suet cake affer pulling the feeder down.
I took the feeder inside but left a piece of turkey for him because I know he’s a little guy just tryin.
