Hi all
There was a good post a while ago about left wing Spanish language audio stuff - podcasts, videos etc
Wondering if anyone has any recommendations for left French stuff in a similar vein
Lectures/essays OK, but would also like more conversational, back and forth, interviews etc
Would be very keen for anything outside of Europe/Canada too
I know Alice Cappelle is from France but I haven’t watched enough of her stuff to know if it’s also available in French.
Thanks, I’ll take a look!
I’d be interested in that too.
Not really all that leftist, but for people learning the language, the Duolingo French podcast has a whole season about the life of famous anarchist, thief and modern day Robin Hood Alexandre Marius Jacob. The wohle trope of a gentleman master thief (Arsène Lupin etc.) is based on his life.
Also here is a French language documentary about the ZAD NDDL (zone à défender Notre-Dame-de-Landes), a successful form of organizing resistance against development projects invented in France.
I found a YouTube link in your comment. Here are links to the same video on alternative frontends that protect your privacy:
workers party of belgium has a podcast called Fakto, they usually cover local and global events in an accessible way.
Piggybacking to ask for journaux recs anyone has, hexagone or beyond.
JeuneAfrique.com and liberation.fr have been my go-tos but they can be a bit lib
Just adding that I found this while digging around - they seem to have a few different podcasts. Haven’t listened yet but looks ok at first glance
