    I live in an area with similar fencing. It’s most likely a gated community, with only one entrance and exit. That makes it a lot easier to catch the occasional criminal in an apartment complex…

    The lower end of the bars being somewhat lifted and having a trail under it might not be an accident, they might have done that to allow turtles and other wildlife passages.

      I feel sorry for people who are so afraid of other people that they tell themselves they need to live in a place like that.

        You sound like someone who has lived a life of privilege and has never had all their life’s possessions stolen. Not every person is inherently good.

          Imho people in gated communities still have those problems (therefore, this fence).

          Where as most people who have those problems more frequently, can’t afford to live in gated communities.
