    (I accidentally pulled my own IUD out, and I’m pretty sure my gyn was lowkey convinced my boyfriend did it. Apparently that’s a thing.)

    Every time I think my opinion of our society couldn’t get any worse I see something like this.

      Don’t work in a Children’s Hospital.

      Why is there a table full of people in mostly scrubs having breakfast burritos and margaritas at 8am just down the street? Night shift is out, and it was not a good night.

      If the IUD thing is shocking, you really, really don’t want to know how low humanity can sink.

        I work in for-profit end-of-life healthcare so yeah… I’ve got some idea. That being said, forcibly removing the IUD from someone that you suposedly care about hits different for me.

      yeah it didn’t hurt nearly as bad as when it went in but it wasn’t comfortable (I caught the string while pulling my diva cup out) and it turned out completely fine I didn’t seem to have torn anything and I just went and got a new one placed a few weeks later, I could imagine it doing some damage especially if someone else was doing it.
