The only “major update” they have made to" Skate 4" since I playtested the game in September 2023 and March 2024 was the addition of microtransactions (for an unreleased game)

The game’s graphics are nearly the same as those of the blockmesh build I played two years ago

Makes low budget f2p release of a beloved sequel that captures nothing of the original It makes no money Cancel it because it wasn’t profitable enough

“well, guess the audience for Skate just wasn’t there” Proceeds to cancel all future plans regarding Skate

which kinda sucks because They could’ve easily just REMASTERED THE ORGINIAL SKATE TRILOGY!

It’s been over a decade all the games are on old gen, bring it to modern consoles & pcs with better graphics. Not only would that bring old players back to relive it with better graphics, it would also bring new people into the series. It would probably been way cheaper, test the waters for a new Skate game, and most importantly not pissed off so many people.
