    As CNBC reports, up to 15,000 scientists working at the institutions will get access to OpenAI’s latest o1 series of AI models

    It’s literally just a bunch of enterprise subscriptions. Big nothingburger, but can create these silly headlines that make it seem like OpenAI does anything at all.

    Not two hours ago, I was chatting with someone about the news conference talking about nuclear power, coal ("can’t be destroyed!”) for AI, and said it was for TIA.

      For the military, I’m sure this is a cost-cutting measure. I’m guessing they get to fire some people And make the rest of them work double time, but with AI assisting them.

      For the working people, it’s another argument that you can point to to get people radicalized :D
