Storage cost, since Lemmy previews vids just fine, might as well save up admins a bit of donation budget

I do agree about not bogging instances down with attachment media costs on top of everything else, but there are alternatives to Imgur like Catbox made for this type of hosting
catbox is great, and i learned a few days ago that they also have a service for temporary uploads (max. 3 days, 1Gb) at https://litterbox.catbox.moe/
