Probably not surprising, but when you get a little bit lucky, Jinhao and Hero pens write quite nicely, especially for the price, which for the 82 is still less than half that of the Lecoule. I actually didn’t realize Sailor was playing in the sub-$30 steel-nib pen segment, though, so thanks!
I bought 3 Jinhao pens at the same time and only this one was scratchy. If you get a good one, the bang for buck ratio is good.
