Utterly awful. Text is less readable, navigation is a pain, and to cap it all, they removed the widget that was the only reason to use it.

I don’t like it. Full of trackers too so I deleted it

It looks and acts fine for me on Android. Perfectly legible. I’m always in light mode though, I find dark harder to read.

I only use the sounds app. Seems to perform its task suitably well.

Looks quite a lot like the Voyager app’s android-view for Lemmy, so I assume it’s following the guidelines for what Android apps are supposed to look like nowadays (I dunno if you’re on a iphone and that’s why it looks weird).

Oh god, have they launched that at last? I tried it in beta a while back and it was fucking awful.

I’m still bitter about them removing the alarm function from the BBC radio sounds app

Not a fan of any of the BBC tbh.

I am not keen on that font at all. It’s a little too thin for my eyes. Are there any other better news apps with alerts? I did try Sky News for a while but the last time I tried that, the alerts were about things I considered not news worthy e.g. two YouTubers splitting up!

Was definitely a huge change for the worst, any recommendations for a replacement widget, since that was the most useful part?
