    I still keep my Hotmail/Yahoo/etc., but I’ve gotten my name as a domain and use that for professional communication.

    It has catch-all support, so whether you send an email to hi@name.com or “XxX_360noscopegamer_xXx@name.com”, I still receive it.

      Wait, so you can just willy-nilly name emails for your domain for different online services and see who’s selling your data pretty easily then right?

      I mean… who isn’t selling our data but still lol

        Yes! I’ve literally found out about a data leak this way before it was announced publicly.

        Exactly and then you can block that one addressband you dont get spam anymore. You can make the addresses up as you go btw, it will receive every email sent to your domain anywaya

        • That’s actually really cool! I’ve been actively degoogling this year but my email is one of the last holdouts so I’ll have to look into this

            Another advantage of having your own domain for email is that you can just pack your shit and move to greener pastures when your current email provider turns to shit. No need to change your email everywhere.
