Example: Cat litter that we prefer comes in 25lb boxes. Why lug that when it can come to your door? I don’t think my spouse could even lift it due to an injury. But I feed the Bezos machine and I’m not proud of it.
Getting groceries and other consumables is so alien to me. It feels wasteful, but tbh there are probably some efficiencies to having deliveries going out via orchestrated routes.
I still wouldn’t recommend Amazon anything to anyone just because of what patronising them goes to, but we’ve all got our own battle lines and must decide what we can live with vs not.
