“Since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, investigators from the National Police of Ukraine have initiated 154,153 criminal proceedings for crimes committed on Ukrainian territory by servicemen of the armed forces of the Russian Federation and their accomplices,” a statement reads.

According to the Ukrainian National Police:

  • 137,828 cases were opened under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (war crimes);
  • 9,340 under Article 110 (encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine);

      I’m saying “no war without war crimes”. And every country commits them. Look at WW2. The USA also commited war crimes.

      You’re basically saying that humans are not equal, like humans under autocrats are genetically built different to automatically commit war crimes.

      Since you’re asking for Ukraine war crimes specifically:

      Note that independently investigating war crimes while the war is still ongoing is very difficult. Most incidents usually surface after the war.
