    I like Sanders, but let’s unpack the headline here:

    Bernie Sanders draws capacity crowd in Kenosha

    3,500 is not a crowd, and if you have to turn 500 people away because it exceeds the venue’s capacity, it’s not that “drawing capacity” is impressive so much that the venue’s capacity is underwhelming.

      Sanders has, in the past, filled Alliant Energy Center at around double that capacity. Kenosha also has less than half of Madison’s population. Proportionately, that’s very good, especially considering how red the area has been in the past.

        Bernie filling a large venue in Madison is shooting fish in a barrel. Bernie filling venues in more rural areas that went for Trump in the last election indicates that Wisconsinites are pissed.
