Might be nice to have an “Achilles and his pal” community to compliment it ;)
Eh Sappho lived in Lesbos, Achilles didn’t live in Gaybos.
Maybe something that’s a more fitting name, like Gaylord and his Pal
I have a family member named “gaillard”
And a “Narcissus and his bow” community for the asexuals
Let’s pick another one. Aces aren’t narcissists anymore than I am when I check myself out in the mirror. Buffalo Bill style.
Narcissus was put to the death for not sexing anyone. One of his spurned suitors prayed to Nemesis that he should love what he cannot have. Nemesis made him fall in love with his reflection and die.
The egotism isn’t a character trait, it’s a curse. Narcissus’ only character traits are being aroace, liking to spend time alone in the woods hunting, and being rude AF to strangers who try to rizz a 16 year old boy. Ace icon 🏳️🌈
Why not just put it all in one? Do we really need a community for each specific form of queer erasure?
