I use FitoTrack, which I found on FDroid. It’s reliant on third parties (Mastodon, etc) for sharing, but it does all that.

3020·9 天前While well-intentioned, this is never going to happen. The last thing the Authorities want is civilians being incentivised to take the law into their own hands to win top awards. Ahmed was a very lucky man. It could have ended there and then for him. And he still ended up being shot.

4·14 天前We were doing it in the late 80s at university. Showing a bunch of SF/F movies in a lecture hall on the weekend for five bucks. We made an absolute killing on the drinks and snacks, which we used to buy books for the SF/F club library.

26·22 天前I thought something like that had happened when I first read Cloud Atlas, but nope - that’s just how it’s written. I loved it once I understood.
In Oz, they certainly fucking do.
Went camping, set up the public BBQ, lit it. Vegan comes along and insists that we can’t cook meat on it because it will contaminate whatever she was cooking.
She turned a particularly interesting shade of green when I reminded her that it was public, had been used by a bajillion meat eaters, and meat contamination was the least of her worries - given druggies and drunks would piss on it in the wee small hours every public holiday.
She left soon after.

Unfortunately, no. I didn’t receive it. I just checked.
Thanks for that. Was that posted to a newsletter? I’m surprised I missed it if it was posted on piefed.au. IIRC, I joined there around September.
