That wasn’t really an answer, my comment was trying to understand why people want that. Obviously there are personal preferences involved, I just wanted to hear from someone that wanted it as to why.

My question is why the heck do people keep mentioning NPCs with dynamic chatter? Why do people even want that or see that as a good thing?

Yea, honestly I don’t know anyone that has bought or plans on buying a Switch 2, but I know a lot of people that bought or have Switch 1. Of course, that’s anecdotal, but shits just way too pricey. I and most that I know got into the Switch because of the affordability and on-the-go console play. Half of that equation is gone, and we already have the on-the-go console play with Switch 1.

We also have sales taxes in Canada, but that precentage depends on the province or territory. So you could expect the final Canadian price to go as high as $710 CAD.
BotW and its sequel are so unlike any other Zelda game, I doubt having played or grown up with other Zelda games would be helpful.

Dreaming of, or warning about?
Reworded DND rules sounds really rough
What’s even worse about this is that the original Kickstarter pitch said it’d be a classless, points based system. So to then go and just reword D&D is… yea. I’m not convinced anyone in the team actually knows what they’re doing.

Yea, I was looking at used 3DS since my hinge finally broke… sad times.

Where are original switches getting more affordable? Last I saw, Nintendo raised their prices.

I’d have to look up a walkthrough to get the specific information, but I recall you have to give earrings to the queen in wildwoods.

The whole reason behind it was to socialise with others in person and trade.
Now, though, the whole “multiple versions” is kinda pointless and just gates things, as you said.

I loved my retroid 3+ while it lasted. Unfortunately, it lasted only for a year before parts started breaking. They also stopped selling replacement parts by that point, and no one could find the ones needed to fix my device. Not sure why retroid keeps getting more expensive with each release if they’re still using the same quality of parts, but I’m never buying from them again.
I was looking at this device, but if it’s overall the same company, I’m definitely out. My 3DS just recently succumbed to the hinge issue, so I don’t doubt something with cheaper parts will succumb to the same issue much quicker.

I just didn’t enjoy it. I understand and appreciate all the things it did for JRPGs and pushing them into 3D as well, but playing it for the first time it just… was not good, in my opinion. I suppose the story beats that were meant to have impact didn’t since those have long since been spoiled, and controlling it was really difficult. All in all, I wouldn’t play the original FF7 again. I’ll probably give the new ones a try at some point.

I hope so as well! So far of the original 3D FFs, the only one that was disappointing was FF7, so I’m hopeful. So far I enjoy the quickness and easiness of switching between backlog characters in combat!

Been off of JRPGs for a tick, too much if a time commitment recently. But I started up Final Fantasy X. First time playing it, and since over the last couple of years I’ve gone through 7-9, it’s about time I work on 10.

As the other poster mentioned, the accessibility options will probably be able to help. But as someone that has 100% both Hollow Knight and Silksong, I couldn’t get very far in Nine Sols. The parry is key and I found the timing for it incredibly brutal.

Yea, that’s one of the ones that is excluded. Usually just the smaller contained rooms.

I’ve replayed this game maybe 4 times, I love it! Hope you enjoy your time with it all the way through.
FWIW, you do have safe spots.
Any room with a typewriter he cannot get into.
I didn’t care much for the first one, so likely wasn’t going to see this - but I do agree. Stuff like this is a nice surprise to find out in the movie, though I’m certain there are people that were not going to see this film previously that now will because of this. Hoping for their sake it’s not a 3 second little easter egg, haha.
I felt similarly for when Captain America: Civil War advertised Spider-Man.
