I think for this move to make sense, you need to understand how much Kenji Inafune set Capcom back with his MegaMan decisions before his departure. I’m sure this was a big aspect of their different approach to game making.

So the only one you’ve played is KH3? Of course you’re going to be confused about the story. Even going through the other games before getting to KH3 is a bit confusing.

Don’t worry, they’ll still find a way to make the daily lives of working class people worse while they’re on their extended vacation.

I suppose it may depend on what circles you’re talking about them in, because that series is one of the top recommendations for metroidvanias. They’ve sold over 15 million copies.

It’d be nice if they put more into the world of FF8 like they keep shoving into FF7, truthfully.

Honestly, I got about 20 minutes in before turning it off. Does the rest of the film feel the same as those first 20?

In the article it mentions this was in the 1970s. Not sure why they’re trying to use it as an example of modern DC comics while also ignoring the current ongoing black led comics.

Okay I think this is actually the best answer in here. I know of too many people that won’t play pixel games or PS1 era because “the graphics are bad”, which just sends me for a spin because I absolutely adore how they look.

Yea, I had fun. Solid 7/10 for me. Story elements and pacing could’ve been better in places, especially the first half.
But give me a star wars story where it’s mostly aliens and there are animatronics/puppets, and I’m a happy camper.

8 is definitely not a good first JRPG to start with, but I think it’s an interesting reversal of the regular mechanics/grind that you expect from the genre.

I actually think FF8 and FF9 have aged wonderfully. Personally, it’s FF7 that hasn’t aged the best.

No, it happened at the same time, we were just warned in advance. Once again, Canada gets fucked to make things level with American pricing despite our lower dollar.

We’ve always been affected by American prices of things. Some things fly under the radar and will be slightly cheaper here, but for the most part, the prices here are matched market price of the US, despite having a weaker dollar.
I can’t imagine anyone would want to buy new games or old consoles for these insane prices, but then the Switch 2 did crazy numbers, so what the fuck do I know?

I just started Act 3, unaware of the specific changes to the patch, and was surprised when “retry the battle?” Popped up.
Very useful!
I think it’s interesting that people have to attach their names and prove they’re real to sign this, but serious complaints can be filed anonymously. I’m not European, so does this mean anyone random can file complaints? Or it’s done somehow officially, just shows up anonymously?
I’m asking to understand how this works because this could not be the industry entirely.
I was looking forward to some conversation regarding this subject in the comments, instead all we’ve got is people talking about text vs video, and drawing any attention away from actually discussing the video.
Great.

You’re not alone.
Release the ugly sonic cut!

Honestly, I’m not exactly sure what you mean by changed scenes. Do you have any examples? I’ve seen it 3 times and don’t really have any knowledge of this.
Do you mean the flashbacks that are different based on who’s telling the story? Because those are clues in themselves.

We must have seen different films or I’m massively misremembering. Glass onion actively hid scenes so you couldn’t piece things together yourself, only showing those scenes when they wanted the big reveal.
I’m still surprised people can get the second game to launch when they launch it through steam. I tried for hours to try and get it running, but the stupid external launcher wouldn’t cooperate, so I refunded it. First one worked fine.
