If something is 40 times smaller than another thing, what is the reference point for how small the original thing is?

Sometimes you’ve got to break some eggs

As you wish.
David Bowie never committed genocide. He just made some questionable decisions while on coke.
Athletics is just people who did the same movement over and over again until they got good at it. Totally skill free.

The trolleys have a wheel that magnetises to the escalator.

No, a lift.

Often those emotions are rooted in concerns about fundamental elements of life and whether people feel they are being provided for in areas such as health, housing and education.
So basically “end capitalism”.

Yeah, it has vibes like a studio accidentally spent real money on someone’s student art project.

They should definitely do a version of Melania with the classic pairing of Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee, and then Abbot & Costello Meet Melania.
This is not my beautiful tree. This is not my beautiful sky.
Not very surreal though is it?
I’m a software dev and don’t think I fully have a handle on it. Basically the Fediverse proper is all of the servers networked to each other via the ActivePub protocol, which is to say that they have agreed to share activities (or rather posts with each other) on a peer-to-peer basis. Where it gets a bit more complicated is that there are applications like Mastodon and Lemmy that use activitypub in a particular way to create a specific flavour of social network, so most Fediverse instances are one of these - same executable, many machines - and these only connect with other nodes that are either the same, or compatible with the activities they share.
In principle this means that power over the network is not concentrated in the hands of a few, as instance owners who cause trouble, or fail to moderate their hosted users, can simply be blocked and routed around. An instance can be public and host to anyone who wants to sign up, invitation only, a self-hosted individual, or any kind of organisation (this is where the email metaphor is strongest).
How come a pry bar can’t be used for prying, and a crowbar can’t be used for crowing?

Piece of shit. I hope Gordon Brown takes him down with one of his Epstein dossiers soon.

You’re supposed to leave them in hedges.
These… are small, and those… are far away.

You didn’t hear this here, but Vivaldi browser comes with free Proton VPN.

When I worked in Wythenshawe (the largest council estate in Europe at the time) my team lead used to meet potential buyers for his car in the police station car park for the security. It was hairy enough just driving around there tbh
You want us to be better than us?
