5·4 days agoMost expensive one I could find with a simple google search in Germany is € 12.54 per kg,
the ones pictured above are 680g, so for $ 7.49 that’s $ 11.01 or € 9.55 per kg (at current exchange rate)Average price for pasta sauce in Germany seems to be around € 5.00 / kg, but then the Rao’s might be among the pricier sauces in the US?

Impression
The rhymes of limitation and causation start the entire poem of strong.
The underlying idea is great, I like how you play with ‘will can’t’ and ‘could won’t’ and the double meaning of will.
Critique:
And I will knów that you will wíll
And who knows whére you may stráy
For whére thére’s a wíll, there’s a wáyI feel like that ‘know’ is left hanging, it has no rhyme connecting to it’s rhythm, so the ‘will’ in the same line is without partner, maybe you could add a line to close it, like:
‘a matter of want and not of skill’
I like the ‘stray’ and ‘way’ rhyme, additionally the words are thematically connected which gives the poem a very nice, round feeling ending.
But the speech-rhythm of ‘where there’s a will, there’s a way’ breaks with the established rhythms, it feels like the poem “stumbles” here. I understand you want to incorporate this popular saying, but I think the entire poem shows that you can do better than that.
Overall:
Themes are fitting and on point, I like the play with won’t and can’t, especially the ‘where we could won’t’ and ‘that you will will’ are very nice turns of phrase. The changing rhythm in the middle of the poem is not breaking the flow. I just think that ‘you will will’ is too nice to be left hanging and that the end is stumbling a bit where it should gracefully glide into the end.
I’m not talking about evidence, and I’m making no claim about evidence here. I’m talking about logic and reasons to have a specific conviction.
To believe in anything that I have no evidence for, would leave me believing in a million different and contradicting things. I don’t have any evidence for the cosmic teapot, for the invisible pink unicorn or the flying spaghetti monster (Pesto Be Upon Him). And withholding judgement on the existence of pixies, wall-socket-kobolds, voltage-growing-trees and the Schinamarug is simply removed from practicality, because you cannot prove a negative, but in every day life I HAVE to act like there is NOT an invisible puppy everywhere where I want to step. For all intents and purposes, I KNOW there is no teapot orbiting Saturn and I KNOW there is no invisible pink unicorn. For these reasons it is illogical to withhold judgement on an existence that I have no evidence for AND absolutely no other reason to believe in.
Hard atheism is (in my opinion) simply the sane and practicable conviction. Because if you tell me “I’m not convinced there is a teapot orbiting Saturn right now, but there might be.” Then I can only tell you that, no, if you think there might be a teapot orbiting Saturn right now, you’re wrong, even without me having any evidence disproving it. And you can’t tell me that my conviction that there definitely is no teapot in an orbit of Saturn right now, is in any shape or form unreasonable.
You… aren’t Violet08… nice! Moar people hornyposting.
It’s not just about atheism in this, it’s about the gnosticism in combination.
Gnostic Theism = I am convinced by the claim there is a god. And I know my conviction is correct.
Agnostic theism = I’m convinced by the claim there is a god, but I don’t know if I’m right about that.
Agnostic atheism = I’m not convinced by the claim there is a god, and I don’t know if I’m right about that.
Gnostic atheism = I’m not convinced there is a god. And I know my (negative) conviction is correct.
Gnostic atheism is often also called positive, strong or hard atheism.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Negative_and_positive_atheism
I’m a strong atheist myself, following this reasoning:
The “no arguments argument” for atheism:
- (1) The absence of good reasons to believe that God exists is itself a good reason to believe that God does not exist.
- (2) There is no good reason to believe that God exists.
It follows from (1) and (2) that
- (3) There is good reason to believe that God does not exist.
Mhmmm… not quite. To claim there is no god is gnostic (or strong) atheism.
Anti-Theism is the conviction that belief in a deity or religion is foolish and overall something bad for society.
What is the definition for God most Christians use?
Is that fuckin’ Tom Cardy??! Yeah? Nah? Yeahnah? Yeah?
Please tell me this is about birthmarks and that the guy is not named Mark. Then again… my head-canon is way more funny and raunchy.
Idk man, sitting in front of Fred Durst assaulting a cat girl would kinda freak me out.

Still, many members of the “willing” were NATO members, so NATO servicemen lost their lives for a US war.
The USA after the September 11 attacks on the WTC declared war on terror and invoked article 5 of the NATO treaty.
In the two following wars (Afghanistan and Iraq) and the resulting instable occupation of both, many servicemen from other NATO countries lost their lives in service to US wars.
It is also good to remember who created the Mujahideen, the Taliban and Al-Qaeda in the first place, because that’s all the US.
And what of Iran? Well the US wanted Mohammad Mosaddegh (the secular and democratically elected leader of Iran) gone, because he wanted to nationalize the iranian oil. So the CIA staged a coup to put the Shah in place who let US and british oil companies into the country again, a totalitarian, dictatorial monarch who suppressed his own people so much, that they turned to the only power left that was able to rid them of his tyranical rule: The Mullahs.
All of this, every little bit, is COMPLETELY the US’ fault and ALWAYS has the USA been unable to clean their own mess themselves alone.
